We are seeking individuals to join our Framing Team. We have positions available for our evening shift (3:30 – 12:00 PM). These positions are located at 80 Furniture Park, Winnipeg.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Learn to be a Furniture Craftsperson!
Assemble wood parts as per product specifications and training program guidelines.
Ensure quality of product by following training and proper procedures.
Follow proper sequence of the work, according to customer needs.
Safely use hand and power tools according to “Safe Work Procedures” and “Job Hazard Analysis” documents.
Other duties as assigned by the team leader.
Responsible for keeping work area clean following 5S.
Working cooperatively with the Team Leader and other team members.
Contribute to producing high-quality, luxury furniture.
WHAT DO YOU BRING?

Experience with air tool assembly.
Ability to read blueprints and patterns.
Ability to measure in Metric and Standard Imperial.
Responsible and safe work habits.
Show positive attitude and initiative.
Be a team player.
Effective communication skills enabling cross training.
Respect cultural diversity.
Ability to use a computer, read and understand specifications is an asset.
Attention to detail is very important.
Physically able to stand, crouch, bend, reach, and stoop for 8 hours a day, lift and manipulate objects up to 25-35 kg (55-77 lbs).
